Reminders

Next week is a super short week.  We'll have school on Monday and Tuesday, and then it's Thanksgiving Break.  Start thawing that turkey!

Math

Problem Set 5 - highlighted problems

We did not have math class today due to the Mountaintop Breakfast.  Tomorrow, we will have a non-traditional class.  We will not do a problem set, and we will instead graph data in a variety of ways.  Weekend homework will be to finish your graphs.

* You may always redo incorrect problems on a problem set to try for a higher grade.

* Bring your calculator to school every day (keep it in your trapper)

Grades

Literacy

1.  A TYPED FINAL PAPER of your suspense story is due next Tuesday before we go on Thanksgiving Break.  We will continue to edit (peer, self, and teacher) in class.

         Remember to:

·        double space

·        right align heading (name, date, and subject)

·        center, capitalize, and quote heading

·        delete extra spaces between paragraphs

·        check spelling and grammar

2.  BOOK ORDERS are due TOMORROW.  This is a great opportunity to get a jump start on Holiday Gifts.

3.  Read 20 minutes each night.  On Mondays I'll check to see if you had 100 minutes or more for the previous week.  (It's a great way to earn a 100% every week!)

4.  You can always study your spelling words.  They should be written down in your spelling steno located in your big trapper.  Each student continues to add new words to their list when they receive graded papers with spelling errors.  The week after Thanksgiving we will have a spelling test.
